Korean and foreign researchers developed a new material of an electronic board by minimizing an interaction among metal materials, improving the performance of subjects.
On November 3rd, Dongguk University announced that Kim Ki-kang, a professor from the Department of Fusion Energy Materials Science and Engineering, and joint research team have exploited a new synthesis technique of non-conductor. Such development will increase working speed of an element and also allow two-dimensional electronic device to be commercialized in more advance.
Silicon dioxide that is generally used as an element board of original semiconductor lets distinct performance of an element to decline. Therefore, in order to protect malfunction of the performance, the research team substituted silicon dioxide for boron nitride, also known as h-BN. In addition, researchers have created an h-BN thin film that correct the flaw of h-BN, low crystallizability. Thanks to new technology, it will be utilized to make electronic element with higher quality.
