With the completion of the formation and selection schedule of Dongguk University's presidential nomination committee, a month-long journey to elect the next president will begin in earnest. Ven. Sungwoo Sunim, chairman of Dongguk University, appointed 27 members of the Presidential Candidate Recommendation Committee at Lotus Hall on December 6th. According to the regulations, the General Committee consists of representatives recommended by the branch, social personnel, teachers, employees, alumni, university departments, and graduate schools. 

   Through the meeting, they discussed the schedule, operation plan, and qualification verification plan for the future meeting. At the third plenary session of the General Committee held at Lotus Hall at 10 A.M. on December 26th, the candidate's opinion presentation (PPT) and question-and-answer session will be held, and the process will be released through online broadcasts such as YouTube. The selection of final candidates and recommendation of the board of directors will be made at 10 A.M. on December 27th through the 4th plenary session of the General Committee.
