On August 4th, the LINC+ business agency of Dongguk University announced the opening of “LINC+ TV” YouTube channel. For those who do not know well about the LINC+ business agency, the word LINC is an abbreviation of Leaders in Industry-University Cooperation. LINC+ business agency performs as a linkage between the university, the industry, and the regional community and pursue win-win and development for all of them. By running programs such as field placement programs, field trip to the industries, and inviting experts to give lectures for students, they aim to cultivate students that meet the need of the companies and the regional community. However, it has not been easy for students to look for information about industry-university cooperation by themselves. The LINC+ TV, a YouTube channel, has opened to help students look for helpful information.
LINC+ TV offers industry-university cooperation information in three main contents. First, they do a weekly live broadcast named the “Weeklelinkle.” In the form of a news or a talk show, they announce weekly main events and the achievements of the LINC+ business at 11A.M. every Wednesday. Special gifts are prepared for those who join the live broadcast. Short clips of the live broadcast are also uploaded for those who missed the live broadcast. Also, the “Lingmoji” content is being uploaded every Monday to satisfy people’s curiosity about what LINC+ business is by introducing achievements of it.
Moreover, it offers industry-university cooperation information which is helpful for certain consumers including university students who are trying to get a job after graduate, or high school students who are not certain about what they want to be in the future. Lastly, though it is not revealed yet, “LINC-ssi-ga-gan-da,” meaning that Mr. LINC is going in Korean, is planned to be uploaded every Friday from September 3rd. By visiting LINC+ business agencies of other universities and participating in their programs, you can learn special features and strong points of their LINC+ programs.
