There was an emergent remark of Kim Geon-jung, the vice chairperson of General Student Council who has been doing hunger strike, in front of the main building at 5:00 P.M. It was done after the prevention of entering the Office of President at 4:00 P.M. There also was a quarrel between the students and an alumnus after Kim's remark.

This was proceeded after encountering unacceptance when they have visited the Office of the President at 4:00 P.M. The GSC visited the General Affairs for the answers of the first item of 9.17 General Students’ Meeting, which is the opposition against the intervention of religious order. However, General Affairs only gave no answer but said the item will go through an official process. Such answer made the students to go to the President’s Office, but was prevented, leading them to open a emergent remark.

Kim Geon-jung, who started a hunger strike for the dismissal of the President Han Tae-sik (Bogwang) and of Chairperson Ilmyun eight days ago, said, “I will continue this strike even when my term as a vice chairperson of GSC ends until they are dismissed.”

After his remark, there was a quarrel between the students and an alumnus who has visited the school. The quarrel began when students heard the alumnus’ laugh after Kim’s remark. The alumnus said, “I came to school since it is 45th anniversary of President Han’s Buddhist priesthood from what I know. I do not understand why the students are doing hunger strike in this better world.”

Kim then said with enragement, “I am not doing this for fun. Do you think it is funny to see a student risking his life on the school matter?” and showed his tears. When the quarrel subsided, other students helped Kim going back to the tent by holding arms.
