Students Opened a Press Conference Regarding "Clean Campus"

   
 
  ¡ã Students gathered at the press conference for school removing posters and belletins on the notice board.

  A press conference regarding “Clean Campus” was opened in front of the main building at 1:00 P.M. They assembled due to the reason that school has cleaned up the posters and bulletins of students on their own.

   The school has removed posters and bulletins that are attached at the notice boards of each colleges by students without student’s permission. It was proceeded by the school as a “Clean Campus” project. Students enraged by the school’s action and opened a press conference.

   An dre, the chairperson of Student Council of the College of Social Science, said, “We have attached a poster related to the conferment of a honorary doctorate degree to Saenuri Party Chairman Kim Moo-sung, but it disappeared not even in 24 hours.”

   
 
  ¡ã Choi Kwang-baek, the chairperson of the General Student Council, is speaking.

   Choi Kwang-baek, the chairperson of the General Student Council, holding a poster for Mongmyeok Song Festival, asserted, “Taking off the bulletins and posters attached by students is not ‘Clean Campus.’ Removing the ones from the organizations outside of campus is.”

   He showed an action of throwing the poster on the ground and stepping on it. He then continued, “When faculty staffs crumple and throw away them like this, it is the same as crushing students’ efforts and mind.”
