Upcoming Pride Dongguk Lectures in November
Pride Dongguk is a liberal lecture that is held in the Main Auditorium at 4 P.M. every Wednesday. This semester, the lecture focuses on globalization to help students understand politics, the economy, society, history and worldwide culture. The following is the schedule of Pride Dongguk in November; Koro Bessho, current Japanese Ambassador in Korea, will come to Dongguk on November 6th to give a lecture about Japanese society and culture. The lecturer of the following week will be Kim Myung-sook, a professor of Liberal Arts Department. Her lecture will be about understanding of the United States. On November 20th, Sung Kim, the United States Ambassador in Korea, will come to Dongguk. He will give a lecture titled “60th Anniversary of Korean-American Partnership.” Pride Dongguk has drawn student interest every semester since it first started three years ago. The lectures are recorded and uploaded online for those who cannot attend. Those who have not registered for these lectures can also watch the video on the website of the Liberal Arts Department.
