On March 27th, the government based Educational Science Technology and Economic-Knowledge Department announced the results from its evaluation of "Second step of supporting academic-industrial cooperation".
The government has focused on developing academic-industrial cooperations with universities since 2004 and has provided incentives to those highly ranked school through their research. This time Dongguk university as well as four other schools have been chosen after careful consideration.
Dongguk will get extra support for better developing their academic-industrial cooperation. This year's extra funds to be provided for well marked universities are 310 billion won in total.
