Application Procedure for Leave of Absence Has Changed
System Alteration Caused Ongoning Discussions
The leave of absence application procedure has newly changed from this semester. Dongguk University made the revision to directly operate the procedure by the school. As the system became more thorough than before, the number of students, who falsely made medical documents, decreased. However, some students experienced inconvenience from the new system. They had some difficulties after the standard for accepting absence became stricter.
Kkumkkiri Festival Was Decorated With Newly Introduced Events
Kkumkkiri Festival, a spring festival of Dongguk University, was held from May 23rd to 25th. Various booths which sold foods and products were run by students.
Human Rights Center Is Bringing Variety
On May 10th, the General Student Council (GSC), the General Coed Student Council (GCSC), and Human Rights Center had a meeting to discuss new plans of Human Rights Center.
A Man Hiding in the Women's Bathroom Was Found in the Law Building
On the last day of the spring festival, at 3:30 A.M., the staffs of the Kkumkkiri Festival found a man hiding in the women's bathroom in the Law Building.
Special Inspection of the College of the Arts
The 2017 Special Inspection of the College of the Arts was held in the Academic Cultural Center on May 30th.
2018 Capstone Design Competitive Exhibition Proceeds
There is a Capstone Design Value-up program going on this year. Students who participate in this program get a chance to receive money which helps to actualize their ideas.
Representatives’ Meeting for the College of Liberal Arts Was Held
The College of Liberal Arts had a representatives’ meeting on May 9th. During the meeting, three agendas were discussed: report of services, approval for the Student Council of the College of Liberal Arts, and direct election system.
Culture Day: Annual Event of the College of Business Administration
On May 16th at 6:30 P.M., the Student Council of the College of Business Administration held an event called “Culture Day.”
