On November 17th, organization that supports attracting college of pharmacy on Dongguk University Goyang campus is beginning in Goyang-si city hall.  This organization is constituted with Goyang-si, Goyang city assembly, Gyeonggi assembly and so on. Its purpose is making Goyang-si a more educational city, and developing medical industry by bringing college of pharmacy.
Specially, Goyang-si wanted to attract its full attention from college of pharmacy through many aid methods: supporting research institute, conferring scholarship to good student and bringing global drug company.
Bae Cheol-ho, Goyang city assembly president, said “In northern part of Gyeonggi-do, three million people live. But there is no college of pharmacy and it is the reason why Dongguk University must have college of pharmacy in Goyang campus”
Until 7th, our university started committee for having college of pharmacy. If this plan ends successfully, college of pharmacy maybe operates as detonator for making Goyang-medicluster.
Oh Young-kyo, the president of Dongguk University, said “College of pharmacy will be essentiality part for Goyang campus. And Dongguk University does strive for attracting”.
