On May 10th, Dongguk University held the “Fifth Dongguk Future Education Forum” under the theme of “Dongguk’s Future and Direction of Educational Innovation” at the auditorium of Dongguk University’s main building. Yoon Sung-yee, the president of Dongguk University, remarked that the forum provided an opportunity to share the future directions of tasks and would help Dongguk University to keep moving forward. With the vision of being a global leader and leading the sustainable future, Dongguk University is going to establish a step-by-step roadmap called “Dongguk Future VISION 2040,” which is a long-term development plan. To achieve this goal, “2022~2024 University Innovation Support Project and the Self-innovation Plan” showed that innovation of self-directed convergence education system, innovation of customized student supporting system, and innovation of digital-based high-tech education environment are needed.
