Dongguk University(DU) was awarded Korea National Quality Award from Korean Standards Association (KSA) in November 25th at Coex.  KSA is an organization that provides both standardization and quality management training and education in Korea.  It certificates good products and services of corporations LOHAS (Lifestyle Of Health And Sustainability) and products of factories KS (Korean Standards).
 It also presents Korea National Quality Award to organizations or individuals that obtained excellent management results -improving quality, cost reduction, productivity, and consumer satisfaction.  The award is given to many parts: public institution, service organization, medical institution, and educational institution.
 DU awarded the presidential commendation as an educational institution with Sung Kwun Kwan University.  These two Universities were the first educational institutions which were awarded; The educational institution part of the award was first made this year.
