More than Half of My University Life

   I will not be able to include all my emotions in my Swan Song. Because I spent most of my university life on the Dongguk Post from my freshman year. In retrospect, it was never easy. Sometimes I did want to do my tasks roughly or even do nothing. Anyhow, I did it, enthusiastically. This is because the Dongguk Post gave meanings to my university life. At first, I applied for the Dongguk Post as I just liked English and it looked cool to be a reporter. However, my work was harder than I thought and my duties became more important as day goes by, so I felt burdened a lot. However, the harder I work and the more pressure I feel, the more responsibilities I have and the more relationships I can rely on. Regarding these relationships, I have lots of things to tell.

   First of all, my seniors. It was all thanks to my seniors that I was able to achieve good results. They were really diligent and meticulous and never did things half-heartedly. Ji-min, Yoo-jeong and Na-kyung, I always tried my best to do well like you. Also, I cannot say anything without Moon-kyung about my memories in the Dongguk Post. She is one of my role models as I know how hard she lives her life. It was really tough because we worked alone once, but to be honest, I thank that time since it made us rely on each other and have a strong relationship. Even after retirement, she often contacted me and said a lot of good things. Moon kyung, your support was a great help. And my peers, Min-jeong and Su-yeon! You taught me a fellowship. I had no peers to rely on at first but thankfully, they joined the Dongguk Post. Min-jeong said nice things and took good care of me. Su-yeon also cheered me every time, listened to my concerns and gave me advice. They are the best peers. I cannot miss my juniors! Da-hyun, Hye-rin, Jaeeun, and Ji-won are always doing greater than I did. I can write Swan Song, free from care, thanks to you. Also, my new juniors, Joon-sang, Chae-yeon, and Yuri are so good. I am sure as you will begreat student reporters from the next semester. Also, I am grateful to the professors. Professor Park Bum-sik and Barry Welsh are the best professors of Dongguk University. They are generous with advice and praise. Thanks to them, I got to learn a lot. Other than them, I got so many precious relationships from our alumni to teachers. Just like my senior did, I want to buy delicious things and cheer for the juniors of the Dongguk Post who will come in the future.

   Anyway, it is really over! I am feeling mixed emotions of joy and sorrow. I spent five out of eight semesters on the Dongguk Post and I do not regret my choice at all. Now, it is time to wave goodbye to the Dongguk Post. Thank you Post to present me precious people and memories!
