On February 18th at 11:00 A.M., the graduation ceremony of spring 2016 was held in the Main Auditorium. About 2,000 students have received Bachelor’s degrees at this commencement.
In the beginning of the ceremony, President Han Tae-sik said, “The knowledge and idea for the degree is the precious intellectual property which is essential for overcoming difficulties and paving the way for the future,” and added,“Dongguk University will keep growing and eternally support the alumni.”
Ven Seongta Sunim, the chairman of the board of directors, added, “Dear graduates, you will meet various people when you go outside. The differences between diverse people are generating many conflicts and confusion. We have to accept and try to understand these differences, which is the very attitude of Donggukians.”
