DEBUT ESSAY

Six months have passed since I became a member of The Dongguk Post.  During this time I contributed to two magazines, got ordinary grades and worked as a tutor for three students.  My busy schedule made me learn the importance of managing my time and money; it was harder than I expected.  Now that I'm a university student, reporter and tutor, my list is better.  Did you read my first article?  To write the article, I had to go to Daejeon with my senior; it took  three hours.  But lack of ability made it hard for me to believe  "Okay, it's a perfect article!" from my senior.  Although I met the best person in this field, I couldn't write the best article.  I was discouraged but my senior and fellows cheered me up.  So, I decided to work harder to overcome this hardship.  Thank you so much my fellows!  Frankly speaking, I've been given two really valuable things ― fellowship and my goal in the Post.  Someday, I will have to go out into the world alone, without anyone to help me.  However, I'm not afraid of my future, because my experiences at the Post helped me to grow up.  I feel I'm about to find what I always have wanted.  I just have to endeavor, and never give up my reporter's dream.  It's my goal at the Post.
