Dongguk University’s Cleaning Worker Issue is an ongoing problem from January 29 th. In March, some events were held by The General Student Council, and The Cleaning Worker Union; An Indaba, Cultural Festival, Talk Show. The School and The Alumni Association posted a notice criticizing the cleaning worker’s strike and said their claim is not true. The Cleaning workers did a signature campaign, informing their situation and asking the students for support. As a reply to this situation, in March 21st, President Han Tae-sik (Bogwang) said he will consider direct employment of the cleaning workers.
