The author of this book describes how humans have been influenced by the tools that they have developed, and how the internet and smart devices will influence global society. The 100-year-old Man Who Climbed out the Window and Disappeared

This novel starts with Alan, a 100-year-old Swedish man, escaping from a sanitarium and deciding to enjoy the rest of his life. He unintentionally cuts into the fast-changing modern world and changes its flow. The novel makes readers concentrate on the importance of living history. Underneath the humor, it describes what ideology, relegion, and our lives are.
