Dongguk University has announced the recruitment of Global Ambassadors (DGLAM) for the 2024 Spring semester. DGLAM will engage in various activities, including conducting foreign language campus tours for domestic and international visitors, participating in numerous promotional activities, supporting events for international students and admissions information sessions, planning and operating exchange programs with current students, and assisting with the International Office’s tasks such as translation, interpretation, and cooperation in exchange activities.
The ambassador program is set to run from April to August 2024 on a semester basis. Selected ambassadors will receive several benefits, including priority participation in cultural programs for international students, an appointment certificate and completion certificate, and a stipend for their activities. Eligible applicants are current Dongguk University students (undergraduate and graduate) who are available for DGLAM activities during the semester. Applicants should have their social media accounts, such as YouTube and Instagram, and be able to utilize them for their activities. Preference will be given to those with previous promotional activity experience, video shooting, and Photoshop skills, as well as those who submit a video portfolio.
Selection will be based on a two-step process: document review and interview. Applicants should submit their application within the recruitment period via email to scf@dongguk.edu. The selection process includes document review from March 27th to 28th, interviews, and final selection from March 29th to April 1st, with the announcement of successful candidates on April 3rd.
