To mark the first anniversary of the foundation of the Sangwon Gyeolsa, the Buddhist Academy of Sciences will hold an academic conference called "Sangwon Gyeolsa and the Pre-Buddhist Education of Korean Buddhism." The event, which will be held at the international conference hall of the Korean Buddhist Jogye Order from 13:00 on Friday, December 8, is hosted by the Korean Buddhist Jogye Order and Dongguk University Buddhist Academy, and organized by Dongguk University Buddhist Academy's Jonghak Research Institute.
In commemoration of the first anniversary of the Sangwon Gyeolsa, the contest was held to academically establish the Sangwon Gyeolsa following the edification of the Buddha's Dharma and to explore Korean Buddhism and university student precepts. In the first part, you will watch the opening ceremony and the Sangwon Gyeolsa India pilgrimage video, and in the second part, academic conferences on various topics will be held.
