The fourth 1000-won breakfast program supporters were recruited. The 1000-won breakfast is a project to help university students to spread the breakfast culture and form rice-oriented eating habits. Student supporters are specifically designed to help promote the 1000-won breakfast business. A total of 70 students were recruited, one from each school participating in the project. Qualifications for application must be university students from 145 universities participating in the 1000-won breakfast program and students interested in the 1000-won breakfast program. Also, they should have personal Social Network Service (SNS) and actively use their own SNS. They must be able to participate in all schedules within the supporters’ project period.
The inauguration ceremony was held on August 18th, and the 4th supporters’activity period is from August to November 2023. Students are supposed to do three things as 1000-won breakfast program supporters.
First, they have to produce content suitable for each mission once a month. They should produce content related to “The 1000-won Breakfast Program” through card news, videos, webtoons, and blog posts and uploads it to the “Misogokgan” channel and also their own channels. “Misogokgan” is a channel that the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs introduces and provides information on domestic rice, and the 1000-won breakfast program is also part of the “Misogokgan” content.
Second, supporters should share the contents of “The 1000-won Breakfast Program” in the “Misogokgan” channel to their own channel. It is the duty of the supporters to share and promote the content that comes up in “Misogokgan” on personal channels.
Lastly, supporters are supposed to participate in offline events related to the 1000-won breakfast business, including the launch ceremony.
The 1000-won breakfast program supporters are paid monthly for their activities. In addition, a supporters’ certificate will be issued upon completion, and excellent supporters will be awarded the Director of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Food Education and Culture Award. A total of five teams will be selected, and with the grand prize team receiving an award of 300,000 won.
