A New Challenge, Being a Reporter of the Dongguk Post

   I wanted to make a memory that I can flash back to after I graduate from Dongguk University. Instead of spending time meaninglessly, I wanted to do an activity that can develop myself, and remain in my memory for years. Therefore, I became a reporter of the Dongguk Post.

   Being a reporter is something that I have never thought about before. Nevertheless, I found that I really enjoy catching the flow of society, investigating information and writing about it. When I was a cub reporter at last semester, I experienced that having a meeting with other reporters and editors in the Dongguk Post, selecting topics, and writing articles were really interesting for me.

   However, for sure, being a cub reporter was not always fun. Actually, I am not that talkative to strangers. But I realized that a reporter is a person who has to talk with many people in order to write articles. I cannot forget how I felt when I was interviewing a professor for the first time. I was worried that I might say something wrong, so I had written down a long script and read it down, taut and pale. I learned that I have to overcome what I am not good at to be a reporter.

   Being a reporter of the Dongguk Post is a new challenge for me. I hope to write more good articles and make cherishable memories with warm and nice people here.
