I cannot believe that now I am a “Post Reporter!” When I was a cub reporter, The Dongguk Post looked so difficult and hard. At first, almost everything was a burden to me. I am not good at expressing my opinion in public, but The Dongguk Post demanded me for that. From item meeting to proofreading, everything requires me to speak out opinion. It was the biggest burden. However I am getting used to do it more. Of course, it is still tough, but now I adjust the way the Dongguk Post works, the way reporters communicate, and the way to finish works on time. I know I am still clumsy but I believe I can do it better.
Actually, not everything was a burden to me. I love to take pictures for articles with The Dongguk Post camera, to have meal with my colleagues together, and lots of experiences that I can get as a “student reporter.” I also like the point that through this challenge, I can improve my English and lots of other things such as doing team project more. I consider The Dongguk Post not just as a qualification, but as a really good playground for growth. I want my writing skills to be better.
As a student reporter, I want to act as a messenger for Donggukians so that students can get information about schools and issues. Starting with this essay, I will do everything well with other reporters this semester, too. It is a lie that The Dongguk Post is not hard, but at least I want to let myself enjoy my life in The Dongguk Post rather than hate it.
