On May 10th, 4:00 P.M., the General Student Council held an appreciation banquet for cleaning staff and guards on campus at Haklim Auditorium. Students from the GSC and student councils of each college attended and had time to present flowers and written messages to express gratitudes on behalf of Donggukians.
An Dre, the chairperson of the GSC said, “This occasion was arranged to thank cleaning workers and guards in Dongguk for Labor Day and Parents’ Day in May. I hope there will be continuous communication between students and workers on campus.”
A present cleaning worker commented, “We will do our best for making favorable conditions for students as we consider students in Dongguk as our children,” and added, “We also wish the GSC would win through the conflict with the school.”
