   On November 18th, candidates for the 48th General Student Council had the first joint open hearing at Choheodang Seminar Room, 7 P.M. four candidates from two parties (Candidate Lee Chang-ho and Lee Seung-jun from Cider Party, Candidate An Dre and Jo Seung-woo from Hashtag Party) participated in this hearing. University Policies, Restructuring Department, Intervention of Religious Order, Student Welfare, and Student Union Fee were the five agenda, which four candidates discussed at the hearing.

 At the hearing, An dre, the candidate of Hashtag, said, “We will focus on providing practical help to students.” Lee Chang-ho, the candidate from Cider, said, “We will clearly realize our pledge,” and added, “also, I will be more developed in the next two hearings.”

   In regards to the intervention of Jogye Order, both parties expressed their stances that they will continue the fight. In addition, all of candidates contended that they will try to gain students’ confidence and ensure transparency in terms of student union fee.  

   The board of representatives is going to hold two more joint open hearings. The second and third hearing will be on November 20th and 26th respectively.
