During the first week of the semester, I was told that the week would be very tough but it was a great time for me to learn more about the Post. The experience of learning to take pictures with DSLR, how to contact other people as a reporter, and the special way to write articles were very refreshing and interesting. I tried to work hard and finish the job I was given perfectly, but there were times when I failed. I realized that I had to concentrate more on the Post to be perfect. Since then and until now, I have been studying English writing and reading articles every day.
Having a dinner together with colleagues and my predecessors (seniors would be better) has been very fun. It was like a family sharing a dinner together. As time has flown by the Post has become a larger part of me. I have my own unique style and personality. After several months, I believed that my certain personality would change a lot, and would be influenced by the Post, and the people at the Post. This place is very graceful and I am thankful to be a member here.
Our year-end party influenced me a lot, when my elders and seniors gave me a lot of good advice. One of the most memorable things was: "You should not expect to receive from the Post, but you should search and earn it by yourself." The desirable attitude at the Post is to work hard, gain and find what you have, and share it with your friends. There is much to learn not only mentally, but also academically. I also have much to learn while proofreading and writing an article. I have to be more diligent when I do my Post work because I have other classes at the same time. This will help me a lot in the future, as I have to deal with multitasking. Many people helped me to become part of the Post, and prayed for, and worried about me a lot. I want to send a sincere thank to them. They would know whom I am talking about. Still, I have a year and a half left as a member of the Post. I am looking forward to learn more, and hope to enjoy every minute of it.
