“Cheers! "Oh, boy! I've been drinking for fourteen consecutive days. I am fed up with suffering from hangovers in the morning. I am sure this is not what I expected my campus life to be!"There I was wandering in a cheap bar drinking soju and thinking about  nothing in particular.I couldn't think why I tried so hard to enter Dongguk University. School wasn't satisfying me at all. Frankly speaking, I wasn't a "goody goody" when I was in Middle  and High school. I didn't study much and I  wondered around downtown when my classmates were studying in the Library. That caused me to study for another year to enter university. I decided to do something worthy when I entered university, but the same campus routine life let me down. I kept asking myself why did I come to this school, what is my life‘s goal, and what do I really want to become. One day I asked one of my professors " How do I know what I really want to become?" He said, "it's just like finding out your favorite food. You have to eat many kinds of food to find your favorite. Experience many different things in life and you'll find out." Thus I had to do something. That made me knock on the door of The Dongguk Post. I wanted to experience what a reporter's life would be like. I was confident about my English ability, but being a Post reporter, required more than language skills. The Post was similar to some sort of a company. At first I was suffocated by some of the rules, such as staying at the Post office as a  sense of duty from 9 am. to 6 pm., participating and preparing for various conferences before publishing the magazine and, afterwards, having  to get along with colleagues. After six months as a cub-reporter, the Post changed my life. I now had a hard working life pattern, a certain aim of life, and knew how to deal with co-workers at the Post. It was more than I expected for. I began to love my Post family and the task assigned to me. Now I am willing to sacrifice my time and effort to expand the business of the Post. I will do my utmost to write articles that will help readers to easily understand social trends and culture in English.I love what I do and I love my colleagues. I am going to pour my devotion and enthusiasm into the Post.
