As a foreigner attending Dongguk University, I havealways had a hard time finding out what was going on around the school. Reading the school newspaper I can know what is going on, but I have a hard time understanding it because my Korean is not very fluent. Sometimes I would have to read an article over and over again in order to understand it. Once I discovered "The Dongguk Post", I could not have been more satisfied. Not only do I find information that I need, but I can read and understand the articles easily. The magazine is a great source of information for the foreign students inDongguk University. When I was asked to give my opinion on the latest Dongguk Post, I was both honored and worried since I'm just a regular student and not a magazine critic. It was an honor to be asked, but I am worried that my opinions may sound unprofessional or even simplistic. I will try to give my best opinion. I read the latest magazine more than once and to me it was very good. There is hardly anything negative to say. However, I thought that the cover of the magazine was not as attractive as the previous issue. It was too dark to attract people's attraction. Most of the articles were very interesting, fun, and included things that I want to read about. Since my main major and my sub majors are related to IT, the articles on "The Power of Thinking" and "DU Leads IT" gave me many tips and useful information. Those two articles helped me to understand a part of my field a little better and gave me encouragement to be more active and to do better. Other articles were great but I was disappointed in the article, "Image Making Lecture". It was good to know that a special event like this was held in school, but I thought that it was too short. It could have given more information. Because I am a Junior and I am worried about getting a job after graduating, a more specific article could have been more helpful. Iam sure that people who had wanted to attend but could not go would want to know more.   Even though I am really satisfied how the magazine articles were written, I felt that the writers wrote on too many serious subjects. It is good to know what is going on in school and the good student tips, but I personally would have like to read more articles relating to our school's club activities and performances. Well that is about it. As a fan of the DGU Post, I look forward to reading more great articles on the happenings in our school. I think that the Dongguk Post staff and reporters are our school's pride. Keep up the good work!
