The Student Counseling Center has two group counseling programs to help students improve themselves. Through group counseling sessions, students can talk to other people who have similar problems and try to find solutions together. The contents of the group counseling sessions are various such as personal relationship problems, career concerns, personality problems and the ability to adapt to new situations.
One session is 'the Concentration Training Program' which starts from April 7th on Wednesdays in the Student Counseling Center. This program shows us how to activate our minds and increase our concentration for learning. It is helpful for students who are trying to find more effective methods of learning. By improving our concentration, we can learn more effectively so that we will gain more satisfaction from our studies at college.
The other session is 'Art Therapy for Finding Myself' which starts from April 1st. An invited guest who specializes in art therapy, as well as selected student participants for the program will attend. This session will be on Thursdays for 6 weeks. The goal of the session is to help us understand ourselves, accept ourselves for the way we are, and better understand the patterns of our behavior.
