Another factor which will help with Dongguk’s popularity will be the synergy between the College of Pharmacy and the medical-cluster in Go-yeong city which has been pushed forward with the help of the Gyeonggi-do province and Go-yang city.
At present, there are as many as 1000 sickbeds and rooms in the Medical & Oriental hospitals in affiliation with Dongguk in Ilsan where classes of Medicine, Nursing and Oriental medicine are offered.
Dongguk has been known for concentrating all its efforts to attain qualified teachers and to improve the infrastructure of the campus for opening a College of Pharmacy. As the college has already lined up 14 teachers in full service, it is arranged to increase the number of full-time teachers to 20 by 2013 and 30, ultimately. Also, finances amounting to 94.2 billion won is going to be put into establishing the Pharmaceutical building of 9,997.5m²size.
