The Dongguk University (DU) takes the head of education filled with love for students. On October 19th, it had JCI-Chamsaram study room opening ceremony in Jung-gu, Shindang-dong. This project was made by DU, JCI Seoul Jung-gu Junior Chamber and Jung-gu. Study room will operate during the ten-week program.
 The twenty mentors are DU students who are selected through examination. Fifty elementary students will receive an education about literature, mathematics, English, Chinese character and economics. Also, the effective way of educating will provide proper level for elementary students. The purpose of this project is the contribution to improve local community welfare and helping low-income students to grow in right way.
 This study room gives good examples of volunteer working.
 Unlike other volunteer activities, this program is first trial to work together with outside companies. Jeong Dong-il, director of Jung-gu office, said, “We have been connected with the Dongguk University since 1998. We hope to produce well every business including this project.”
