On Feb. 15, Dongguk University (DU)'s academic requirements were changed. The essential particulars are as follows. The number of semesters at school is limited to "12", the standard of scholastic warning went from up   "1.5" to "2.0", and the standard of expulsion from school is changed  from "warned 3 times continuously or 4 times sporadically" to "warned 3 times sporadically."
  And DU's departments were reorganized. Attached organizations for education came into being. They consist of The Center for International Education, The Institute for Social Relevant Education, The Center for Cultural Studies Education. And the name of Office Concerning Instruction is changed to Administration Affairs.
  The administrator of Planning & Personnel Affairs said, "The standard of scholastic warning was strengthened to make students study according to DU President Hong Ki-sam's wishes. And DU's departments were reshuffled for administrative efficiency."
