On November 7th, a presentation ceremony was held to celebrate BTN's (Buddhist Television Network) donation of broadcasting equipment to DUBS‘s (Dongguk University Broadcasting System) new studio. At the ceremony was a representative of BTN, our president Oh Young-kyo, the director of Dongguk Media Center and about 10 staff members of DUBS. The broadcasting equipments BTN provided are for video recording improvement including three studio cameras, a switcher and an audio console. This equipment is worth about one hundred three million won. "This donation is part of the academic-industrial cooperation for the training of talented human resources in broadcasting," the representative of BTN said. "We will make an effort to train students who are talented in broadcasting with the new broadcasting equipments BTN has supplied," president Oh Young-kyo replied.
An opening ceremony for the DUBS's new studio was held after the general presentation ceremony. DUBS broadcasting station located on the fourth floor at the Student Hall has moved to the first floor of the Main Hall. The new broadcasting station with the space of 164 square meters has two studios and a control room equipped with editor and broadcasting equipment including the donations made by BTN.
