The 9th Buddha Statue Enshrining Ceremony

 The 9th Buddha Statue Enshrining Ceremony (BSEC) was held on November 16th at Dae Ggak Geon (DGG) to express gratitude to people who gave a contribution to Dongguk University (DU) and Dongguk University International Hospital (DUIH).  
     The BSEC was started in 1995 to raise money for DUIH.  There were 314 new statues enshrined at the 9th anniversary. The enshrined statues amounted to 4,401.  This 9th event was held to support DUIH and DU expansion.
     Those donors who gave over one million won will have a personal or family name on Buddha statues in DGG, and they will get a discount fee in DUIH by using Donggguk VIP card.
     “We wish to thank all those generous donors and hope that new donors will support us." said, Kwon, Dong-Hee, the dean of External Affairs and Development.
