The “Healing Phrase Contest” award ceremony was held at Lotus Hall on the fourth floor of the main building on December 8th. From August 29th to September 30th, the Counseling Center of Dongguk University advertised Dongguk University students for the Healing Phrase Contest. The theme of the contest was “a healing phrase that comforted or cheered me, or a healing phrase of empathy and support that I want to convey to other students.” The counseling center wanted to create an opportunity for Dongguk University students to convey their support and comfort to each other.

   The winners of the contest were announced on December 6th and the awards ceremony was held on December 8th. Yoon Sung-yee, the president of Dongguk University, the head of the Student Affairs Office, and the head of the Counseling Center attended the award ceremony to encourage the winners. A total of 18 people, including two first awards, six excellence awards, and 10 encouragement awards, received awards. The representative student who won the first prize, said, “I feel proud since there are many winners of the Healing Phrase Contest at the Engineering Department,” and expressed his feelings, “Thank you to the teachers who highly evaluated the phrases.”
