Whenever I'm faced with this situation, I ask myself whether I should give up my job as a cub-reporter or not. One day, suddenly, a plot of a storybook hit me.
It was An Ugly Duckling.
In the story, the ugly duckling was always the laughingstock of her friends. She didn't know the reason why everyone laughed at her. Finally, she found the reason. She doesn't look like the nest of her family. Becoming frustrated, she decided to leave her hometown. During her travel, she was faced with many difficulties such as hunger, coldness and icy stares. Going through these hardships, strengthened her wings. She spred them and flew high into the sky. She finally could fly by herself! When she reached a lake, she saw a beautiful reflected swan in the water. She wasn't anymore the ugly duckling. She became more beautiful than she had hoped to be.
I thought I'm in the same situation as her. I've learned a precious lesson from this story I had read in my childhood. Despite my poor English, various experiences enable me to become a passable "reporter."
After two years, I could say, "Wow! What happened to me? I have become the News Desk Editor." And I could say the past years were great experiences to me.
