   On May 17th, a publishing conference for the “Dongguk’s Light” series was held at the office of the chairman of the Construction and Committee of Dongguk University’s Main Building. Celebrating the 116th anniversary of Dongguk University’s opening, a series of reviews on the characters who lit up the school in history was published, drawing attention.

   The series aims to publish 100 books. Among them, a total of seven books were introduced at this time, which contains the stories of seven characters who formed ties with Dongguk University and shone at the school. All seven people have different genders, different fields of activity, and different times of life. However, they have something in common in that they are great people who have learned the personality while attending Dongguk University and have had a good influence on the world based on what they learned at Dongguk University.

    Starting with seven volumes, three volumes in a row will be published next month. It announced that it will continue to select 100 characters and publish them continuously in the future. The Dongguk Post hopes that many Donggukians feel proud through the lives of their alumni, and looking forward to the ones reading books now to become the next protagonist.
