The Exhibition of Donated Relics
On May 10, Dongguk University Museum (DUM) opened a special exhibition on donated relics to celebrate the 98th anniversary of DU's establishment.
The exhibited relics were donated by monks and professors who graduated from DU and by a former President of DU. Joeng Gi-yong, an owner of a traditional art gallery, donated a considerable number of antiques.
The exhibited paintings, wooden status and potteries were from Shilla and Choson Dynasties.
"DUM has a special exhibition annually, and this year we prepared for 'Donation Relics Special Exhibition' because many people donated their antiques so that everyone could see the national assets," the spokesman said.
The exhibition will last until June 11. For more information, please call (02)2260-3462.
