On Nov. 8, a special lecture was held in Duck-am seminar room at the Academic Cultural Center. It was sponsored by the Course of Event and Convention Management of DU Management School. The lecturer was Park Hyun-ju, the president of Mirae Asset.
According to the lecture, the most serious problem of the past Korean share market was that the general public regarded shares as short-term assets and a dangerous thing. However, the American share market is the opposite because it is based on steady development and high investment for companies.
Mr. Park said, "21C Korean share market is favorably growing in quality in comparison to the past following quantitative growth. And we will meet stronger competition in the future. In this atmosphere, we need to have more adventure spirit and self-confidence."
