   On April 11th, a lighting ceremony celebrating Buddha's birthday was held in Paljeongdo at 6:00 P.M.

   Beginning with the celebrating ceremony of OPUS (Orchestra Club of Dongguk University) and the Dharma drum performance, congratulatory message of President Han Tae-sik (Bogwang) and the illustrious scriptures of Dharma of Ven Jagwang Sunim, the Head of the Board of Trustees took place. Then, the school staffs turned on the lotus lanterns in campus and the event ended with the participants circling around the pagoda.
