From March 13, Information Systems & Network Management of Dongguk University (DU) has run the 'Conversation with the President?at the school's homepage bulletin. Students can suggest to the president their opinions about DU's development. " I'm offering students an opportunity to participate directly in school management,?said President Oh Young-kyo in his inaugural address.

'Conversation with the President?has received enthusiastic reactions from DU students. After only two weeks, a total of 142 proposals were submitted including 67 from professors, 63 from undergraduates, 8 from graduate students, and 4 from alumni. The president will consider these proposals carefully.

"Actually, I was skeptical about this program because I didn't think a common student like me could talk with the president directly, but now I believe it. President Oh replied to my suggestion in only two days,?said Lee Young-bin, a Computrer Engineering Major.

'Conversation with the President?will continue for some time.
