On Oct. 14, Dongguk University (DU) soccer team won a silver medal in the 85th National Sports Festival. DU soccer team won the Seoul universities qualifier title. So DU took part in the game as representative of Seoul universities' soccer team, initially.
  The competition is progressed by tournament. They repelled Dankook University, Paichai University and Honam University by turns and advanced to the National Sports Festival finals. But, DU lost via Ulsan University soccer team conceding four points (two points in the first half and latter half) in the finals.
  "I'm glad that we got excellent results. I appreciate our athletes' efforts. We'll do utmost to win the gold medal next national soccer tournament," said Kim Yong-hae, a director of DU soccer team. DU soccer team is organized a director, a coach and 28 players. They are under training to win the victory and enhance organizational capacity.
