A Group Coaching Program by U-Peers

U-Peers, a group for peer counseling affiliated with the Student Counseling Center, gave a group coaching program in May in Room 409 of Haklim Hall and the Student Counseling Center. The program was conducted for both single students and couples. It was held on May 14th and 16th for singles, and on 28th and 30th for couples. The subject was ‘Understanding the Differences between Men and Women.’

On May 14th, the program began with U-Peers’ presentation. The presentation dealt with ways to meet the opposite gender in order to find love, when a man or woman has good feelings towards someone of the opposite gender, when they have bad feelings towards someone of the opposite gender, and so on. After that, participants divided into three groups. They talked freely about their ideal type and experiences of love. Later, there were quizzes with prizes. The quizzes were ‘What are men or women doing when they are interested in someone of the opposite gender?’ The answers were that ‘women wear skirt’ and that ‘men find an opportunity to meet her.’

On May 16th, participants received the outcome of their tests. From the test, participants were placed in various categories which best fit their style of love, including ‘the Best friend’, ‘the Selfless Love’, ‘the Possessive Love’, ‘the Playful Love’, ‘the Logical Love’, ‘the Romantic Love.’ After that participants wrote in groups about their ideal type and the type of person they dislike, and presented their opinions to other students. The group that ranked first received prizes. Jeong U-seok, one of participants, gave his impression, “It is quite fun when I did a group activity. I think the most memorable part of this event was to meet people in reality. I wish for a continuous relationship with the people whom I met today for the first time.”

The President of U-Peers Ur Jin-seok said, “If counseling is done to help with shortcomings, coaching is done to complement strengths. So, we chose to call this program as group coaching program. Through this program, participants can dialogue among people who are just like themselves. Also they will understand differences in viewpoints between men and women.”

If I were on this MSNBC panel I would just jump on the counter and throw my hands up in the air. FFS   삭제

This is how you do a panel. You have people with different opinions. Fox News would just have a bunch of guys agreeing with each other   삭제

It is possible to recommend most people what you do in just a number of seconds, and advise them also that you are not the enemy. A few most people appear to assume that assembly planners are at present an optional added cost that companies will have to not be paying for. Try a number of of those replies by expressing them to oneself inside a mirror, and modify what ever you should to ensure that they perform specifically well for you personally and does not sound rehearsed..   삭제
