Dongguk University's Graduate School of Digital Image and Contents held its first annual culture and art festival called 'Befriending the Society' on November 20th. It was held at the Lee Hae-rang Art Theater in the late afternoon until the evening. The purpose of the festival was to unite both graduate and undergraduate students of the Digital Images and Contents Department through art and cultural contents created by the students themselves.
The faculty of each department prepared different art and cultural contents. The department of Performance Arts prepared a play called 'The Mind's Lies', which deals a story of complicated human minds that lie according to each one's situation. The Multimedia Department prepared two pieces for the special night and they were called 'Visible Sound, Hearable Video' and 'Dongguk Design Cinematography'. Both of these works held highly designed contents of the multimedia field.
The Department of Cultural Contents held a briefing session for a creative musical called "Girls Listen to the Dance." The session explained the musical piece of work that involves a lot of body movements that have their own unique sounds. The Department of Movies had a screening of their movies. There were three movies which they had shot for the festival and they were called 'SERA', 'Trancesiam', and 'Department Room for Living'
The purpose of holding the Contents and Art Festival had been fulfilled and all of the participants enjoyed the after party at Lounge O located on the basement floor of Munhwa Hall.
