On March 25, the Writing Center at DongGuk University (DGU) held the first workshop for professors and lecturers in the Faculty of Korean Lang. & Lit.  The topic of the workshop was "The Theory and Practice of the Writing Instruction."  The workshop took two and a half hours. 
 The Writing Center gave advice to teachers on how to improve their teaching skills.  It consisted of the following three lectures;  1)'Instruction and Homework for Writing' by Prof. Nam Jin-suk, 2)'Class Planning for the Composition & Presentation' by Prof. Ha Sung-ran, a lecturer at KangNam University, and 3)'Theory and Practice for Composition & Presentation' by Kim Yang-won.  Although only a few people came to listen to the program, it is expected that number of participants will increase next time Because of this workshop, DGU student will be advanced their ability of the writing.
