"I'm Sorry, But I Love You"

The following is a fable of one man's love and farewell.

There was a man whose lover had died. He could not even conceive of living alone without her in this world and decided to follow her to the after-life. He got to that world through suicide. But he couldn't meet his lover because he had committed the sin of suicide, and his heart was broken by sorrow.
He yearned to be reunited with her. "Sincerity Moves Heaven!" The King of Hell felt pity for him and granted his request. But because of the sin of suicide, the King could not let him be reborn as a man. That was the rule of the hell. So he came to life again as a woman.
After many years, he met her and made friends with her. He spent much time with her and was happy because he was her good friend. He started falling in love forgetting about his new sex. Anyway, he always tried to stay beside her.
One day he drank too much with her and confessed his love. Even though he was her best friend, she could not understand nor accept his love. She finally left him.

One celebrity's "coming out" is stirring up men and women's interest in their sexual identity. It is common to find a person who is homosexual in contemporary society. However, it seems that our conformist society will not accept this fact, just as before. Homosexuals insist that they are not different from heterosexuals, except that they love people of the same sex. The above story is just a fictional attempt at looking at them from a different angle. Isn't it time that we discard our distorted views about homosexuals?
