September 21 was the deadline for submitting manuscripts.  Every year Jungang daily newspaper bestowed Mi-dang literary award at Ko-chang.  In this year, for the first time the composition contest becomes a part of Mi-dang Literary Festival which will be held between November 2 and 4 .  Its purpose is to commemorate the achievements of the poet Seo Jeong-ju.
  Those who pass the preliminary proceeding of the composition contest  can participate in the festival.  The winners will be awarded and their works will be published in print.
  Dongguk University (DU) and Mi-dang Literacy Society co-sponsor the composition contest and  Jungang daily newspaper supports it.
