Dongguk Hall's Relocation
Dongguk Hall was renovated from July 30 to Sep. 23 to solve a lack of space. Facility Management tried to finish the renovation during the summer vacation but it was delayed until September. The current noisy construction disturbs lectures, which led to student complaints about the noise and lack of air conditioning.
The Evening Library on the fifth floor was changed to an open system and relocated to the second floor. While 32 of the professors’ offices were moved to the fourth floor and the students' rooms on the fourth floor were changed to the third floor. Also, lecture rooms were increased to twelve.
The expected quarrel between students and the School Authority (SA) didn't occur because they avoided it by communicating with each other. “There was not serious friction. We kept in touch with students to avoid   quarrel and had many meetings with them,” said Park Jeong-hoon, Facility Management manager.
