From December 12th of 2022 to January 1st of 2023, application on Dongguk University’s dormitories of Seoul Campus (Namsan & Chungmu residence) has been noticed. International students who are enrolling in undergraduate or graduate program for the spring semester, 2023, can apply it through clicking the survey in the homepage notification. Otherwise, exchange students must apply to Office of International Relations.

   Dormitories are divided into two categories. Namsan Haksa is in the Seoul Campus, and Chungmu Haksa is located near the Chungmu-ro subway station. However, it is not possible to choose dormitories. Also, room change after check-in is not available. Scholars of KGSP (Korean Government Scholarship Program), freshmen or transfer students, and students got higher GPA scores at last semester are getting priorities.

   Students will pay the dormitory fee (1,492,500 won for four mouths and 2,280,000 won for six months) based on Namsan Haksa. In addition, meal tickets should be bought individually. The announcement of results will be sent through the email on January 3rd, however, if there are a lot of applicants, some students may be restricted from occupying. Check-in is only available from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M., during weekdays.

   In addition, all electronic devices with 110V are prohibited, and cooking in the room or taking pets are prohibited, too. If you smoke, drinking, or bringing in alcoholic beverages indoors, you may force resignation. Visit Dongguk University’s website for more information.
