Dongguk University conducted matriculation ceremony online. It was conducted at the main auditorium in the main building. Due to COVID-19, freshmen could participate in it through YouTube and Zoom. This ceremony showed LED performance to welcome freshmen. Yoon Sung-yee, the President of Dongguk University, shared well-wishing remarks, saying, "I hope you will demonstrate your dream and talent in Donnguk University as decent university students."
