Ven Sung Woo sunim, the Chairman of the World Council for Religion and Peace, was officially inaugurated as the 41st Chairman of Dongguk University Foundation. Ven Sung Woo sunim graduated from Dongguk Buddhist University in 1981 and completed master’s and doctorate courses at the graduate school, and received a doctorate in philosophy. Ven Sung Woo sunim said that he will devote himself only to the development of Dongguk University with other corporate executives and school faculty members.
