The Dongguk Post Magazine Is Advanced by You, Donggukians!
Campus News speaks for students. No doubt student opinion is paramount to the campus media including The Dongguk Post. Do you know that The Dongguk Post has been the sole English press in Dongguk University since 1966, and its reporters are all students at Dongguk University? However, the Dongguk Post reporters try to express students' various thoughts and criticism about campus matters the best it can, even though communicating with student is a problem to be solved every time. So, we try to seek them out to get an accurate opinion.
This year, we planned to publish a total of 6 magazines, one in March, April, and June, and then in September, October, and December. They will be published at the first or second week of every month, if possible. Each time 4,000 editions are distributed at the Seoul and Kyungju campuses and foreign sisterhood universities and so on.
We seek colorful content and interesting design in our magazine through reflecting reader opinion, which should be the role of a campus magazine. We also will select news items carefully and choose articles concerning DU news and campus issues to foreign countries. And we will spend much time examining and correcting our articles to guarantee their accuracy. If there is a need the change the magazine's format, we will do it after due consideration. Please take an in-depth look at our efforts.
